It is with deep sadness that we inform our community of the passing of Andrew (Andy) Beddoe, the principal of Floradale Public School.

In his short time at Floradale PS, Andy reached many students and staff with his warm and caring attitude and was regularly seen smiling in the halls. He was a dedicated educator who, in his own words, was devoted to helping learners find their potential.

He will be deeply missed by those who worked with him and especially missed by the students and staff who worked alongside him at Floradale Public School, where he was Principal, Wellesley, Forest Glen and Silverheights Public Schools, where he was the Vice Principal, Learning Services where he was a consultant, and Queensmount and Margaret Avenue Public Schools, where he was a teacher.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Andy’s wife and two children, along with his colleagues and students at Floradale PS. We are all grieving the loss of a wonderful human being, educator and member of our WRDSB family.

Andy’s family will receive friends in the Ballroom at Bingemans Conference Centre, 425 Bingeman Centre Drive, Kitchener on Sunday, April 14th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Eulogies and memories will be shared at 3:00 pm over refreshments. Click here for more information.
