In December, Floradale P.S students and staff generally become involved in a classroom door decorating contest.  Usually, two or three classes are awarded an ice cream party for their efforts.  This year, a Floradale community member was visiting in our school when the winning classes were being announced.  So moved by the efforts of the students, this individual offered to pay for ice cream parties for the rest of the school!!  This offer was widely accepted and this past Friday students received their report cards highlighting their achievements and enjoyed an ice cream cone.  What a winning combination!
