While much of the procedure remains the same there are 2 significant changes to note:
1 Frigid Temperatures
schools will NOT be automatically closed when temperatures reach –35°C or colder with wind-chill. While buses will not operate the decision to close schools will be dependent on weather and road conditions.

2 School closures related to transportation – Linwood Public School, Floradale Public School, and Waterloo Oxford District Secondary School.  Section 10 of the revised AP 4130 does not automatically direct the closure of the above schools when transportation is cancelled in Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich Townships. Decisions as to school closures in this area, as in other parts of the Board, will be dependent on weather and road conditions.
